We are striving to be as flexible as possible when it comes to booking a Cheeky Pineapple Tour in 2023. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at hello@cheekypineappletravel.com.
This document sets out the obligations that Cheeky Pineapple Travel Ltd. (“Cheeky Pineapple,” “the Company,” “we” or “we”) with company number: 11218323 and registered office address of 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, England, W1W 7LT owes to you (“Customer,” “Client,” or “you”), and the obligations you owe to the company when a contract is formed between the Client and Cheeky Pineapple Travel Ltd.
All references in these conditions to “tour”, “booking”, “contract” or “arrangements” mean such tour arrangements unless otherwise stated. If the Client is booking on behalf of a group, it is the responsibility of the Client who books online and accepts the terms and conditions to make sure all other persons in the group have read the Terms and Conditions and have agreed to its contents.
The Terms & Conditions and all matters arising from it, is subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. The information contained online is correct, however Cheeky Pineapple accept no liability for any inaccuracies contained herein.
By making a booking with the Company, you accept on behalf of yourself and all those named on the booking to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when the Company sends a confirmation email. It is at this point that a contract between the Company and the Client comes into existence. The Company reserve the right to decline any booking at their discretion.
Any cancellation by a Client must be made in writing and be acknowledged by the Company in writing. The date on which the request to cancel is received by the Company will determine the cancellation fees. The cancellation fees are expressed hereafter as a percentage of the total tour price.
It is strongly recommended that comprehensive travel insurance is taken out which includes cover against cancellation charges. Depending on the reason for the cancellation, you may be able to reclaim the cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the terms of the insurance policy. All claims must be made direct to the insurance company.
We understand that your travel plans may change. You must notify us in written of any desired start date or tour changes prior to the start date of your tour. All changes are subject to availability. If the new date or tour is available, and you wish to change:
Your deposit value will remain as a credit on your booking available to use against a trip - no refund of the deposit will be applicable. One deposit amount can be credited per trip. Deposits cannot be combined or applied to existing bookings.
We will not cancel your travel arrangements less than 30 days before your departure date, except for reasons of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final balance.
We require a minimum of 4 passengers to run a trip. If we do not meet the minimum numbers 30 days before the start of your trip, we will cancel your trip and refund your booking.
If a trip is cancelled by us for any reason you are entitled to either a full refund, move your booking to an alternative date or convert your payment into credit. Your decision to convert your booking to account credit is final once submitted and refunds cannot be requested at a later date. If you move your booking to a new date, your original booking terms will apply.
If your trip is going ahead but you need to cancel 30 days or less before departure due to the following Covid 19 related reasons:
we agree to waive our normal cancellation terms and offer you the option to move to a new date, convert to account credit or a full refund.

We recommend all customers purchase travel insurance that includes Covid-19 cancellation cover prior to departure on a Cheeky Pineapple trip.
An inherent risk of exposure to Covid-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Covid-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. We ask that you please take personal responsibility for your wellbeing. This begins with packing any personal protective equipment and sanitisers you require. Please adopt hygiene practices throughout your pre-trip travel arrangements and follow all health instructions from your host. To travel with Cheeky Pineapple Travel, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to Covid-19.

IMPORTANT: Entry requirements can change at short notice. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate paperwork for entry into Slovenia and for your return to the UK.
There is no travel insurance cover included in the price of any product represented on the website. Travel insurance is required for all passengers covering all applicable dates of travel with Cheeky Pineapple Travel. This insurance must cover: trip interruption, personal injury, medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation cover including during pandemic events. Cheeky Pineapple Travel Ltd is not responsible for any testing costs incurred. Cheeky Pineapple Travel will not be held liable for any costs incurred by the Client resulting from their failure to obtain adequate travel insurance.
The choice of insurer is yours. We recommend you purchase your insurance soon after booking your trip and that you ensure there are no exclusion clauses limiting or excluding protection for the type of activities included in your tour.
The Client understands and acknowledges it may be necessary, sometimes at short notice, to make changes to an itinerary due to weather, traffic or road conditions. Every effort will be made to rectify such issues as quickly as possible however the Company cannot accept any responsibility for delays caused by any form of breakdown. The company reserves the right at any time to cancel or change any of the facilities, accommodations, services or prices described in our brochure or online and to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value or charge a supplement locally if alternative arrangements cannot be made, without compensation to the Client and accepts no liability to the Client whatsoever for costs or loss of enjoyment as a result of these changes. If the Company makes a major change the Company will inform the Client as soon as reasonably possible if there is sufficient time before departure. Where the Company has to make a major change to the Client’s holiday before departure in these circumstances the Company will notify the Client as quickly as possible so that the Client can take the decision to withdraw from the contract without penalty or accept the change and proceed with the trip.
If we have to suspend or make major changes to your tour because of force majeure we will not be liable to refund your monies or pay you compensation. In these such circumstances we will do our best to offer you an alternative date or tour, or a credit towards future travel with us. Force Majeure can include, but is not limited to, war, the threat of war, civil strife, outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination, terrorist activities or the threat of terrorist activities, acts of governments or local authorities, strikes, industrial disputes, demonstrations, natural disasters, unnatural disasters such as explosions or any similar event which is outside our control. Advice from the Foreign Office to avoid or leave a particular country may constitute force majeure. We will follow the advice given by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
There will be no discounts or monies refunded for missed or unused services, this includes voluntary or involuntary termination/departure from tour, i.e. sickness, death of a family member, late arrival on the tour or premature departure, either voluntarily or involuntarily. This also applies if you opt out of certain activities during the tour.
Optional activities not included in the trip price do not form part of the trip or this contract. You accept that any assistance given by your group leader or local representative in arranging optional activities does not render us liable for them in any way. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between you and activity provider.
At all times the decision of the Company’s tour leader or representative will be final on all matters likely to endanger the safety and wellbeing of the tour. By booking with the Company, the Client agrees to abide by the authority of the tour leader or Company representative. The Client must at all times strictly comply with the laws, customs, and foreign exchange and drug regulations of all countries visited. If the Client is affected by any condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect other people’s enjoyment of the tour, the Client must advice Cheeky Pineapple Travel at the times of booking. Should the Client fail to comply with the above or commit any illegal action when on the tour or, in in the opinion of the tour leader, the Client’s behaviour is causing or is likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others the Company may terminate that Client’s travel arrangements without any liability on the Company’s part and the Client will not be entitled to any refund or unused or missed services or costs incurred resulting from the termination of the travel arrangements.
If a Client has a complaint against the Company, the Client must first inform the tour leader at the earliest opportunity to allow the grievance to be rectified. If satisfaction is not reached, contact the Company representative or local Office Manager whilst on tour in order that the Company is provided the opportunity to rectify the matter. Failure to indicate dissatisfaction whilst on tour will result in the Client’s ability to claim compensation from the Company being extinguished or at least reduced. If satisfaction is still not reached through these means on tour then any further complaint must be put in writing to the Company directly to Cheeky Pineapple Travel at www.cheekypineappletravel.com within 28 days of returning from your trip to allow your complaint to be investigated properly.
In order to process your booking, Cheeky Pineapple need to collect certain personal details from you. These details will usually include the names and addresses of party members, credit/debit or other payment details and special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition that may affect the holiday arrangements. We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information.
We must pass some information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements (hostels etc.). Except where expressly permitted by the Data Protection Act 1998, Cheeky Pineapple will only deal with the personal details you give to the Company as set out above unless you agree otherwise. We may make contact with you or members of your holiday party by post, e-mail, or telephone for the purposes set out (you must reassure all names and details are entered correctly at the time of booking). We may contact you by e-mail about our updated website or special offers, however you will be able to unsubscribe yourself from our database at this time.
Occasionally we will run a sale or promotion for some or all products. These promotions are only valid during the outlined time period shown in the promotion. If no time period is listed Cheeky Pineapple Travel reserves the right to discontinue the promotion at any time. Discounts cannot be applied to existing bookings. Discounts are applied to Tour bookings only and are not applicable to any other items purchased.
In order to reserve your spot on a tour, a non-refundable deposit of £100 per person is required to secure your spot. The deposit is accepted as the first payment instalment. The balance of your tour must be paid in full no later than 45 days prior to the tour scheduled departure date. The date is referenced on the confirmation email issued to you by Cheeky Pineapple Travel Ltd. In the case of bookings made between 45 days and the scheduled departure date full payment is required at the time of booking. If payment is not made by the due date the Company reserves the right to cancel your booking and keep the deposit. Occasionally we will run a promotion for Deposits at a discounted rate and if no time period is listed the Company reserves the right to discontinue the promotion at any time.
Cheeky Pineapple Travel gift vouchers are non-refundable and will expire within 24 months of purchase if no tour is selected. Gift Voucher value cannot be redeemed on non-tour purchases. Gift Voucher’s entire value must be redeemed at one time - remaining balance cannot be issued or transferred for a later date.
Cheeky Pineapple Travel does require a minimum number of 4 passengers in order for a tour to be financially viable & to have a pleasant group atmosphere. This means that in the event of our minimum numbers not being reached, it may be necessary to cancel a scheduled tour. In this event, we will endeavour to offer an alternative tour date or a full refund. The last possible date on which a decision for a tour to be cancelled will be no later than 30 days prior to departure.
You give permission for Cheeky Pineapple Travel to use images (including still and video) of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and without compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only, through whatever medium it chooses.
It is Passenger’s responsibility to obtain any visas, passports (passport must be valid 6 months past the return date), health certificates, permits or other travel documentation applicable to your itinerary.
We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel, or incur any other loss because you have not complied with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities. It remains the Passenger’s responsibility to ensure that these documents are in order and meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements.
Passengers under 18 years old are not permitted on Cheeky Pineapple tours - bookings from persons under 18 will not be accepted in any case.
